We know that overcoming homelessness often means more than a roof over your head. That’s why Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work as well as a stable home for as long as someone needs it.

The first Emmaus community opened in 1991 and there are now 30 communities spread across the UK. There are also three Emmaus groups currently working to open new communities.

Emmaus supports more than 800 formerly homeless people, you only have to read the stories of some of the people we have supported to see what a difference Emmaus makes.

Taking part in this iconic marathon will help raise vital funds to continue supporting everyone at an Emmaus community.
