The Challenge

So, not sure if I am going through some sort of mid-life crisis, but I have signed up for 3 events in 3 months in 2024. 
Firstly, I am planning on running the London Marathon on the 21st April, then on the 26th May I am looking to complete the Manchester Half Marathon followed by the Manchester 10K a couple of hours later. Finally, my last event will be the 'Race the Train' event on the 16th June, which is an 11 mile trail run where I will attempt to beat the steam train from Bury to Rawtenstall.

The Charity

Children with Cancer UK is a United Kingdom-based charity dedicated to raising money for research and providing care for children with cancer and their families. The aims of their research projects are to understand what causes children to get cancer and to develop improved treatments. The charity also organises days out and parties for families affected by childhood cancer.
