My Story

Will you support me when I run the London Marathon on 21 April 2024? I’m raising funds for a cause close to my heart, Contact, a charity helping families with disabled children.

There are more than one million disabled children in the UK. Sadly, most face significant discrimination and inequalities across all areas of their lives. Contact sheds light on the daily hurdles encountered by these individuals and their families by running helplines, workshops and events as well as campaigning to influence policy.

Seven years ago, I embarked on a half marathon journey for Contact, and now I'm eager to embrace the next challenge – my first full marathon. My goal is to raise £2,500, and your support, no matter the size, will play a vital role in amplifying the charity's reach and making a tangible difference in the lives of these families. 

Having experienced the benefits of the work done by the charity first hand, with their support for my brother, I know your contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of other families.
