My Story

In December 2022 I was diagnosed with lung cancer, having never smoked a single cigarette in my life.

In January 2023 I had a lobectomy which resulted in me losing half of my left lung. However, I was lucky and the cancer hadn't spread, so I get a chance to go again.

My love of distance running led me to enter the London Marathon, but the cancer thwarted my previous two attempts. Now I intend to finish my business.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. I'm running for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation to help raise vital funds that support all those affected by lung cancer.
