As many of you will know, it's incredibly difficult to get a London Marathon place but I've been lucky enough to win a ballot place through my running club Petts Wood Runners and as I nominated Westmeria Counselling as our chosen charity all money raised will go directly to them. So this year Petts Wood Runners will be raising money for our Club Charity of the year Westmeria Counselling
As a local charity based in the London Borough of Bromley, Westmeria Counselling is a valued service offering emotional support to the local community-anyone who is finding life really difficult and looking for help to gain an understanding as to why.
Westmeria offers affordable counselling and uniquely doesn’t set a fee. It costs the charity £40 to run one session, so every donation however small means so much.
As someone who has used counselling I know the personal benefits and what it offers. Now as a qualified counsellor I am giving back the gift to others.
