My Story
The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.
Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.
I'm raising money for Tourettes Action. Tourettes Action supports people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is the leading support and research charity for people with Tourette Syndrome (TS) and their families. We want people with TS to receive the practical support and social acceptance they need to help them live their lives to the full.
Tourettes Action gets no government support, so we appreciate all the help from our supporters that enables us to continue working to improve the lives of people living with TS. I know I can rely on you all to help me reach my target goal and support this amazing charity to continue doing what they do best. Thanks so much for your support.
