My Story

I am running the London marathon this year to raise vital funds for Children With Cancer UK.

My son battled stage 4 cancer from his 3rd birthday up until he rang the bell over 3 years later, and is still currently undergoing a medical trial until the end of this year to prevent it coming back.

The funds raised will provide vital support for children and their families and hugely important research into more effective and less damaging treatment for children's cancer.

I have never attempted running anywhere near this far, so let's see how this goes!

Please sponsor me if you can.

Archie is an identical twin and fell ill with Neuroblastoma over 4 years ago.

We have seen and been in a whole world we hadn't ever considered before.

Seeing children suffer and the parents helplessly muddling through with a brave face is not easy.

Charitable help is invaluable to families going through this situation, not only funding much needed research, but also providing anything from supplies for hospital to family days out to help bring some normality and happy memories amongst the chaos.

The Children with Cancer charity fund important research into the causes of childhood cancers and for better/more gentle treatment for children, with their funded work significantly improving the survival rate of children with cancer, along with initiatives to help the children and families in need.

We will be forever grateful for everyone who donated to help Archie on his medical trial to stop the cancer coming back, and to those charities that helped us and others in our situation.

These charities rely on fundraising events and donations to be able to fund important research and help families through the tough times, and we're hoping to help give back a little by destroying Dads body 😊

Dad has never attempted anything of this sort and we will be getting Archie involved in the training.

Archie is excited that Dads taking this on and the fact that Archie needs to build his strength and do some training/physio will encourage him to also get involved in the build up and motivate us along the way 😊

We were totally amazed by everyone's heroic efforts during Archies original fundraising and will forever be in awe 💪🏻

We feel like we can now 'just about' find the energy to start trying to give back.

Please support us as much as you can, to help other children and families going through it all
