My Story

In April 2024, I'll be running both Brighton and London Marathon, 2 weeks apart, to raise money for the Youth Sport Trust.

With a background in rugby, rowing, martial arts, mountaineering and now most recently a love for running! Sport for me was much more than just improving my physical health. It was the thing that gave me confidence in myself, friendship, and a drive and passion for the things I do.

Starting university during Covid, it was the support of the communities around me that I had built from the sports I was involved in that helped me through those difficult times. Now that I’m in the position to be able to repay that, it’s a great honour to be able to run on behalf of the Youth Sport Trust and raise some money to give those same opportunities that I had to as many young children as possible.

Youth Sport Trust equips educators and empowers young people with the vision of creating a future where every child enjoys the life-changing benefits of play and sport.

Sport gives young people a platform to have their voice heard and a place to feel they belong. YST harness this extraordinary power to change young lives today and help them to build a brighter tomorrow.

There is a crisis in young people's wellbeing, with rising numbers reporting symptoms of anxiety and depression, alongside a decline in levels of physical activity. Youth Sport Trust is fighting to help all young people tackle the issues they face in today's world.

Together we're transforming lives through sport and play. #TeamYST
