My Story

Cancer has deeply impacted my life, as both of my parents and my beloved uncle lost their battles to this devastating disease. Witnessing their struggle inspired me to make a difference and contribute in the fight against cancer. As a researcher in oncology at JNJ, I am dedicated to finding innovative solutions, but I am also determined to raise awareness and support. That's why I have decided to participate in the London Marathon and use this opportunity to fundraise for Children with Cancer UK.

Losing my parents and uncle to cancer has left an indelible mark on me. Witnessing their strength and resilience throughout their battles I made the decision to participate in the prestigious London Marathon. This iconic event attracts thousands of runners from around the world, creating a platform to raise awareness and funds for worthy causes.

Training for a marathon demands discipline, both mentally and physically. It requires dedication, persistence, and resilience – qualities that cancer patients exhibit throughout their journeys. As I push my own limits during training, I remind myself of the battles fought by cancer patients and their families, reinforcing my motivation to raise funds and awareness.

Running the London Marathon is not just about crossing the finish line; it represents a collective effort to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Through my personal journey of loss and dedication to oncology research at JNJ, I aim to inspire others to support cancer research initiatives. I am grateful for every donation, every kind word, and every person who joins me on this journey, as together we strive to bring hope, progress, and healing to those affected by cancer.
