My Story

Embarking on the iconic London Marathon, I am honoured to announce that I will be taking on the 26.2 miles in support of the Sailors' Society.

Sailors' Society is a global maritime welfare charity supporting seafarers and their families in need, day and night, 365 days a year.

As a seafarer I intimately understand the trials that accompany life at sea and I deeply appreciate any donation you can make. Having worked at sea and away from home I have grown a personal connection to this charity. 

Sailors’ Society circle of care covers seafarers from their first days in training or at sea and includes award-winning wellness training, pre-departure training, trained Crisis Response Network and Peer-to-Peer support groups. 

Sailors’ Society are also there for families too with their Wellness at Home training and support in any crisis from abandonment and accidents to imprisonment and natural disasters.
