My Story

I'm taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2024 and I have never ran this far!

Kidney disease is hereditary within our family. Our Nan died at an early age, after years on dialysis and our Mum was diagnosed 25 years ago. Mum has lived an active life, climbing Pen-y-fan and Snowdonia and her kidney function has been relatively stable. However, after catching COVID in 2020, her kidney's deteriorated and she now awaits dialysis and transplant.

Every step I take and every penny I raise will be helping Kidney Care UK be there for people affected by kidney disease. Currently, over 3.5 million people are diagnosed with kidney disease with 68,000 of these in kidney failure and 30,000 receiving dialysis treatment.

Please support me and them to make sure no one faces kidney disease alone.
