My Story
I am excited to be running the 2024 London Marathon to raise funds and awareness to the Children with Cancer UK charity!
This will be my 11th Full Marathon, my 5th World Major Marathon (one more to go to finish this dream), but my 1st for charity! I am grateful to be given the oppotunity to give back to this charity while doing something I love.... running!
I was 3 years old when Children with Cancer UK started their efforts. Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond. Their work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.
