My Story

Now this may come as a shock to you all but I am running the 2024 London Marathon and no... I have not been hacked (*deep breaths*)

Whether you know me or not, i do in fact hate running. Now, you must be thinking why am i doing this. The answer is found in the great cause the charity Chain of Hope does.

It is a little known fact that 1 in every 100 children are born with a heart defect. Most of these defects can be fixed by routine operations in developing worlds. If uncorrected, these defects can cause considerable suffering and premature death which impacts a massive number of children around the world. This is exactly why the Chain of Hope was created.

With the work of Chain of Hope, these children are flown to to one of the hospitals set up by this charity's international network where they will receive the urgent treatment they need by renowned cardiac professionals.

Every single penny donated will make a difference to chidlren suffering from heart disease in developing countries. With your donations, you can help in reaching the charity's long-term goal that all children, wherever they are born, have acces to quality cardiac care in ther own countries.

For any further information please have a read through the stories of just some of the children this charity helps and how your money can really make a difference (https://www.chainofhope.org/meet-the-children/)

I would greatly appreciate any donations (how ever big or small) and in return, you get a free one of kind ticket to see me cry nonstop for 26.2 miles (I know, what a bargain)... regular Instagrams of my suffering will be documented.
