My Story

I’m taking part in the London marathon on April 21st 2024. The fire fighters charity is something close to my heart with over 110 years service given to the fire service in my family.

Although a very daunting task I really want to challenge myself and make a difference by running the London Marathon. As a firefighter serving both at Abergele Fire Station and Manchester Airport, I witness firsthand the bravery and dedication required to protect and save lives.

The Fire Fighters Charity holds a special place in my heart, as it has been providing support to firefighters and family members for over 80 years. The incredible work they do in helping firefighters recover from physical and mental health issues, providing rehabilitation, and offering financial assistance is truly commendable.

I have chosen to take on this challenge of running the London Marathon not only to push my own limits but also to raise much-needed funds for this remarkable charity. Every pound raised will directly impact the lives of firefighters who give their all to keep our communities safe.

By supporting my fundraising efforts, you will be contributing to a cause that has had a profound impact on my family and countless others. Your donation will help the Fire Fighters Charity continue to provide vital support, enabling firefighters to heal, recover, and thrive.

I truly appreciate any contribution you can make towards my fundraising goal, no matter how big or small. Together, let's make a difference and show our gratitude to the brave men and women who risk their lives every day to protect us.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
