My Story

I've got this amazing 12-year-old whirlwind at home, and let me tell you, the mere thought of something happening to him sends shivers down my spine. Yet, here's the heart-wrenching truth: there are families out there facing that unimaginable reality every single day. That's why I'm on a mission, folks – I'm diving into this fundraising frenzy to be a lifeline for these families and to fuel vital research.

Now, brace yourselves for this journey. Picture me, someone who once puffed like a steam engine after a 100-meter dash, now breaking out into a sweat 2-3 times a week with my running shoes, alongside treadmill rendezvous and some good ol' distance challenges. Yeah, you read that right. The goal isn't to set land speed records (trust me, that ship sailed long ago). No, my challenge is to conquer distances I'd only previously considered traveling by car.

You might be eyeing me like I've lost my marbles, and honestly, I get it. But hey, that's where you come in! I'm rallying up the cheer squad, hoping you'll be my sideline supporter as I dive headfirst into this training rollercoaster, all leading up to the grand finale – the London Marathon. So buckle up, folks, and let's turn these miles into moments that matter!
