My Story

Hey awesome folks!  I'm on a mission to make every step count as I lace up my shoes for the 2024 TCS London Marathon with Young Lives vs Cancer. Why am I fundraising, you ask? Well, let me share the heart of the matter.

My nephew, a true warrior, faced the daunting challenge of cancer twice first at 15, then again at 30. Fortunately, he conquered it both times. Now, I'm running not just for the thrill of the marathon, but to give back and support the charities that stood by my family during those scary times.

Every donation, whether it's £5 or a whopping £500, contributes to making a huge impact on the lives of children and young people battling cancer. The sad truth is, every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. That's where Young Lives vs Cancer steps in, helping families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them.
