My Story

Like a lot of families, we know the devastating effect cancer can have. In 2020, my Dad passed away due to prostate cancer. It was very aggressive and rounds of chemotherapy were not enough to keep it away. A couple of years later, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and, after a round of radio therapy treatment, was given the all clear. She was very lucky to have had it picked up early on a routine check. My auntie has also had surgery to remove cancer in the past and has fortunately remained cancer free since.

I'm very privileged to have a spot at the London Marathon and for the opportunity to raise money for Cancer Research.  I’m fairly new to running, so this will be quite a challenge, but I would be very grateful if you would support me along the way.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime*, which is why I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.

Every single pound you donate makes a difference, so please sponsor me now and together we will beat cancer.
