My Story

Hello, on 21st April 2024 I'm going to complete the London Marathon to raise as much money as I can for Maggie's Newcastle. And this is why.

In August 2020 my sister (in-law) Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer at 39. She underwent major surgery (days before her 40th) and months of Chemo and Radiotherapy before being given the all clear in May 2021. 

Unfortunately, in January 2023 the cancer had returned and while it won't be cured, Kelly is on the best treatment possible and doing absolutely amazingly well. Throughout all of this the Maggie's Centre staff have been brilliant and a constant pillar of strength for which the whole family are so grateful.

I'd like to raise as much money as possible for this charity so they can continue their fantastic work so if you are able, please make a donation.

I also want to show Matty, Paul(25), Charlie(14) & Madeline(8) how proud of them I am. But most of all I want Kelly, my hero, to know how much she is loved by so many people.
