My Story

Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile London Marathon course – this will be my first time, though not my first marathon (has been a while though!)

I am fundraising for London's Air Ambulance as part of this challenge. This charity operates a helicopter emergency medical service dedicated to responding to serious trauma emergencies in and around London. Their 2024 'Up Against Time' appeal aims to raise over £15 million pounds to help fund two much needed new helicopters as the current machines come to the end of their working lifespans. These are crucial to allowing London's Air Ambulance to continue serving the community, helping to provide faster medical support and help save lives. You never know when you, or someone you care about or know might need this life-saving assistance.
