My Story

I am proud to be running the London Marathon in 2024 with Young Lives vs Cancer, we know first hand the amazing work this team does!!

In 2018 our family were completely devastated when Jack was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer. Jack sadly passed away later that same year on October 26th (just 160 days after diagnosis)

Young Lives vs Cancer were there alongside the family throughout his treamtment, providing support for his sister (Emily) and brother (Max) as well as liaising with Jack's school and school friends. 

Simply put, YLVC took huge pressure off the family allowing us to focus 100% of our time on Jack. The work they do every single day helping family's in their darkest times is incredible!
