My Story

I am thrilled to share with you a journey that is close to myself and my families hearts. This year, I have the incredible honour of running the London Marathon in support of the Helen Arkell Foundation, a charity that has helped transform my son, Charlie's life.

The Helen Arkell Foundation came into our lives when Charlie was facing challenges that seemed undefeatble in his studies. It was through the foundations dedication and expertise that we discovered Charlie's dyslexia.

The Foundation not only identified Charlie's learning difference but provided the tools and support he needed to thrive. Through tailored interventions and a supportive community, they made his educational path more accessible, ultimately leading to a brighter and more confident future.

Charlies story is just one among many, highlighting the Foundations commitment to making education accessible for those facing learning differences. By running the London Marathon, I hope to raise both awareness and funds to further the Foundations mission.
