Eeda is Running the London Marathon (please help!)

My Story
Hi friends! I've run the Virtual London Marathon the last two years in honor of Dad, and this year I've been accepted to run the in-person London Marathon.
Dementia UK is a charity that holds a special place for me and my family. As many of you may know, my dad, Tony Shemke, suffered from dementia/Alzheimers in the last years of his life. Despite my being in Singapore, and dad being in the US, Dementia UK was there for me by connecting me with needed resources and support at critical moments, just like they do for so many families across the United Kingdom.
Sadly, Dad passed away in December. And so our role in this struggle transitioned too -- from supporting ourselves to supporting others who involuntarily walk down the same pathways we had to. It's not an easy journey. But with your support, we'll raise money for a group that provides assistance, tips, comfort, respite and needed community for caregivers trying to make the best of a bad situation.
Please join Derek and me in generously supporting this worthy cause. And I'll see everyone at the finish line in London!
