My Story
I like to run. I like the freedom of it, the sense of accomplishment at the end of a long run, and the sunrise over a quiet(ish) city before the world is fully awake. But what I like most about running is that, every so often, running allows you to be a part of something bigger.
On Sunday the 21st of April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre. The centre helps people to manage their Multiple Sclerosis by offering the best known treatments and practices to those it helps support. The Centre also provides a place of community, so that no one may face this journey alone. The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre receives no funding from the NHS, but they will still provide over 13,000 treatments supporting over 300 families this year.
I came to know of this charity through a friend and their mom. Small local charities like this make a real difference to the people and the families they support. Every donation helps and if you would like to find out more about the charity you can visit www.bmstc.org
