My Story

Hi Everyone,

Back in April last year I decided to enter the ballot to run in the London Marathon. I didn't really think much of it at the time, until 6th July when I received my ballot result telling me I had been successful! Ahhhh! Now the reality of training has started, hence why I've set up this page. Hopefully it'll act as motivation on the days when I don't really want to go for a run! 

The Alzheimer's society do such amazing work for so many families across the uk. The word 'dementia' describes a set of symptoms that over time can affect memory, problem-solving, language and behaviour. Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia. This is something that is close to my family as both my grandads had dementia. 

Any donation that you make will mean so much to me and many other families who will benefit from the money raised.
