My Story

As some of you will already know, Rob and I have set ourselves another massive

new challenge, and a privilege – running the London Marathon together on April

21st 2024.  This is an incredible opportunity for us to do something for others, which we never thought

would be possible…..(never again !!?)

We are running for the Blood Cancer UK

On a personal level, this is a very personal challenge for us, as Blood Cancer is

something which has affected our family profoundly with Rosalind, my mum

who was sadly lost to this awful disease.

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
