In April, I will taking part in the 2024 London Marathon, running 26.2 miles alongside 40,000 others. 6 years ago, living 1 mile from the start line and being 20kgs heavier and incapable of running for a bus, I never would have imagined I would ever be capable (or likely allowed) to run such an event. Following a few half marathons since then, this will be my biggest challenge yet and the training to get there will be worth it for a great cause. 

I will be raising money on behalf of the Free Representation Unit (FRU). FRU is a dedicated charity who provide free legal representation to those who cannot afford legal services. Money raised helps FRU support and empower those who are otherwise unable to navigate social security and employment legal challenges, and protect their rights. 

I am very excited to be running the London Marathon on behalf of FRU and all donations for this amazing organisation are greatly appreciated.
