My Story

Hello, I'm Finley Harnett, the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Wish Centre in Harrow.

I’m delighted to be running my first marathon in aid of the Wish Centre, a fantastic charity that I’m proud to be part of. As Chair of Wish, I know the staff have made a huge difference to the lives of young people in Harrow through one-to-one therapy and peer support groups.

With demand for services rising, I’m hoping to reach my target of £2000.

The Wish Centre is a community-based model that provides open ended psychotherapy and emotional mental health support in person at schools and at its Centre, plus digital therapy, in person peer support groups, out of hours help, and advice and training. The Wish Centre provides a free service for young people ages 12-25 years who live or go to school in Harrow

90 per cent of service users have stopped or reduced self harm, and 85 per cent stopped feeling suicidal.

Please, please give generously and support this fantastic charity — thank you!
