My Story

Unfortunately, far too many of us lose people we love to Cancer. It is hard enough as adults trying to process any heartbreaking news regarding Cancer, the thought of children having to do this is almost unbearable. In my careers as both a teacher and a summer camp leader, I have met some amazing children whose lives are completely different to their peers due to them fighting their own Cancer battles as children - battles most of us could never wish to imagine. 
I am going to train for, and complete this marathon to raise as much money as I can for these children that have touched my life as my small way of trying to help. I also want to raise awareness for children with Cancer as donations are vital to help give these children the futures they deserve.
