The Most Rubik's Cubes Solved While Running a Marathon

My Story

This year at the London Marathon I plan to break the world record for the most Rubik's Cubes solved while running a marathon. The number to beat is 420, and I'm currently training 6 times per week and sorting out the logistical nightmare that is having a constant stream of scrambled cubes for 4 hours straight while I'm running.

I'm super excited to attempt this record, particularly as this year is the 50th anniversary of the cube, and the London Marathon is such a magical event to do it at.

However, I didn't want the attempt to be an entirely self-absorbed recognition of the cube - which is why I thought it would be vital to do it through a charity. St John's Ambulance felt like the right choice for a few reasons:

They offer first-aid training programs which equip individuals with life-saving skills. Funds raised can support the development and expansion of these training programs, reaching a broader audience and empowering more people to respond effectively in emergencies and save lives.

Funding is essential for acquiring and maintaining the necessary medical equipment and resources, including ambulances, first-aid kits, and communication tools. This ensures that the organization is well-equipped to handle the most problematic situations.

Finally, they conduct innovative research in medical response and first aid techniques which are crucial for staying current with the best practices. Donations can support these research efforts, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of emergency medical care.

It would mean the world for you to donate to this cause - any donation is much appreciated, and it is going to an incredible cause.
