My Story

Hello,

I'm going to be taking on the 26.2 mile London Marathon, my first one ever, on Sunday 21st April, for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Someone very close to my heart, my beautiful and brave Mum, is currently fighting a brain tumour.

I hope that in running the London Marathon, I will be able to raise money towards vital research into curing this terrible disease.

Every 46 minutes someone is diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of the under 40s and, unlike other cancers, survival rates have not improved over the last 40 years.

The Brain Tumour Charity are leading the way in changing this and truly fighting brain tumours on all fronts through their work.

Each donation plays a part in the Charity's movement to help people with brain tumours live longer and better lives. Together, we can change these shocking statistics and bring hope to the thousands of people who are diagnosed with a brain tumour every year.

I would be incredibly touched if you could help this essential research by sponsoring me for the marathon.  I’ll be grateful for whatever you can give, every donation counts, towards this very important and now personal cause.

A cure can't wait. Together, we'll find it sooner.

Thank you for any and all donations.

Wish me luck please!

Much love,

George x
