My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Having had my first baby in May 2023, I've decided to spend some of my time on Maternity leave fundraising for COSMIC - namely by running the 2024 London Marathon!

Cosmic are an amazing small charity who support the childrens and neonatal care units at St. Mary's and Queen Charlotte's Hospitals.

I'm aware of what a priviledge it is to have a healthy baby and to be in a position where I can even consider taking on such a physically demanding challenge. I'm even more aware that a number of parents do not have this luxury. The work Cosmic does is vital in helping families through the worst time of their life and it feels fitting to use this period of time in my life to help support the work they do in any small way I can.

Any donations will go towards helping Cosmic go above and beyond what the NHS can afford, purchasing vital state of the art equipment, providing training for health professionals, funding a programme of groundbreakingresearch into life-threatening diseases and supporting families through one of the most difficult times in their life with one to one support, advice, counselling and accomodation for parents.

Thanks for taking the time to read and for any support!
