My Story
In August, I decided that I wanted to challenge myself and having watched the London marathon many times growing up I decided it was my time to give it a go.
I’ve gone from doing little to no running to now running close to 100 miles a month.
I will not only be completing the London Marathon, I will also be running in Edinburgh the following month, all going well.
Ideally I would like to complete it in around 03:30:00, however just to finish would be a great achievement.
I have chosen Meningitis Research Foundation as my chosen charity for London as this is close to my family’s heart as we watched my mum suffer from viral meningitis when I was younger. She also completed the marathon for this charity back in 2013. Their research is invaluable, this disease affects more than 2.5 million people globally each year.
I’m looking to raise £2000 for the charity, any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and wish me luck along my journey.
I’ll be posting updates in here to let you know how my trainings going.
Thank you
