My Story

I am running the London Marathon on the 21st of April for MacMillan cancer support, for close family members who succumbed to their battles against cancer. These extraordinary individuals, deeply cherished by many, left a profound impact on many lives. Their courage and grace in the face of adversity inspire me to run this marathon, not only as a celebration of their lives but also as a means to give back to the support that eased their passing.

In the summer of 2022 Leon was diagnosed with HLH. This horrific disease is incredibly rare and life threatening, with chances of survival being incredibly low. With the amazing care and support of Macmillan, they helped with this particularly challenging time. With his miraculous recovery, my aim is to raise funds not just for MacMillan but also to shine a spotlight on the little-known HLH, a disease that needs better understanding.

With this, this marathon is a heartfelt thank you to an organisation that supports and helps people at their lowest. Any donations would be greatly appreciated xxx
