My Story

Hi Everybody!

So - it’s like this. I have been given the amazing opportunity to run the London Marathon this April, raising money for easyJet’s charity partner UNICEF.

UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, work to build a better world for every child, every day, everywhere. UNICEF provide more children with clean water, life-saving therapeutic food and vaccines, education and protection from violence than any other humanitarian organisation.

If you have a moment, you can learn more about our big orange airline and the charity giants’ relationship here…

Having completed my first 26.2 miles plod last year, I’m not sure what is going to be the greater challenge in 2024- keeping my body in one piece for the length of the worlds greatest marathon, or hitting my fundraising target of £2000.

That’s where you come in…. (You’ve read this far, your are commited now!)

If you are willing and able to support this amazing cause, please please please consider making a donation. The money you donate is not only highly motivating to me and my training preparation, but will make a genuine “Change for Good” for so many, helping to protect millions of children around the world from disease and keep them safe during emergencies.

Thank you in advance for your generosity. If you are in need of a laugh and a day trip out to the capital on April 21st - you know where to find me (the physio tent!)

THANK YOU!!
