My Story

In March 2023, I sadly lost my grandfather, Michael Parish to cancer. He was an incredible man with many stories to tell and I was fortunate enough to be able to have 21 years of memories with him. To honour him, I will be completing the London Marathon in support of the Gurkha Welfare Trust. Having served with the Gurkha soldiers during his army career this is a charity that meant a huge amount to my grandfather and he strongly supported the work they do. 

The Gurkha Welfare Trust use all funds raised to provide vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal. They enable people to live with dignity by delivering essential financial and medical aid and work with local communities to provide access to clean water and education.
