My Story

Foolishly I thought running the London marathon again was a good idea. It wasn't. I hate running. I'm so slow it takes me forever. The training is horrible and boring and I could have travelled somewhere cool or read some really good books in the hours I have spent slowly running around my house in all kinds of weather. I have sworn at the wind, been angry with the presence of hills and blamed my slow progress on my knees. Next week this punishment will come to an end when I attempt to haul my unimpressed body around 26.2 miles of London. I will be running with my lovely friend Lindsay and trying not to slow her down too much and I will be raising money for CAFOD so at least good can come of my stupidity.
