My Story
Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at Great Ormond Street Hospital from all over the UK.
I'm taking part in the 2024 TCS London Marathon for TeamGOSH. Those of you who know me, know this is a huge personal challenge as I'm not a runner at all!
Every day, young lives hang in the balance as patients, families and staff battle the most complex illnesses. Every day, the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.
Your donation will make a real difference in the lives of these children by providing them with access to life-saving treatments that can give them hope for a brighter future.
I have been inspired to try and make a difference for the families whose stories I have followed. Your support with contribute to helping find a cure for children with cancer who continue to suffer the severe toxicity of adult treatments meant to cure them, due to lack of research. Your support will also help to provide better emotional support and a more comfortable environment for their families in the new children’s cancer centre, as they adjust to life in hospital and learn to manage their child’s condition.
Your donation could mean giving all of these children hope when they need it most - hope that one day they too can run a marathon or have a life of their own.
Please consider donating whatever you can spare today - no amount is too small! Thank you ❤️
