My Story

I am honoured and very excited to say I am running in The London Marathon for Breast Cancer Now on Sunday, 21st April 2024.

Cancer is a horrible illness that has affected many people around me. I have chosen to run for this charity for them and anyone else fighting or has fought breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Now is the UK's largest breast cancer charity, providing world-class research and life-changing care for people affected by breast cancer, giving support for today and hope for the future.

I have never run more than 7.5 miles, so 26.2 miles will be a huge personal challenge.  I am, though, looking forward to the marathon journey - running for such an incredible cause makes it all seem possible.  I am sure there will be much blood, sweat and tears along the way, and I promise to keep everyone updated on my progress via social media.

If you can, please sponsor me; it would mean so much and will help Breast Cancer Now be able to carry on their fantastic work. Please also keep your eyes peeled for some fundraising events I will be hosting throughout the next few months.

Let's do something to make a difference and show cancer who's boss!
