My Story

I am running the 2024 London Marathon for Brain Research UK!

Unfortunately back in 2019 my mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour in her head. Since then the journey my mum has been on has been extremely emotional, rough and painful, but never has my mum stopped being my hero. She has been there for me every step of the way showing strength, determination and resilience towards this horrible illness. I pray everyday my mum will recover from this illness, and I am running this marathon to try and be raise money to support my mum and show that I'm there for her every step of the way.

Alongside this my partner of four years, has unfortunately had to recently suffer with her Grandad being put into a home due to suffering from alzheimer's disease, he again has shown so much strength and resilience through his journey, so I am running this marathon with both these amazing individuals in my heart.

so please donate as much as you can to this charity so one day no one will have to venture of these emotional journeys again.

Brain Research UK
is the UK’s leading national funder dedicated to research into neurological conditions. They fund vital research to increase understanding, improve diagnosis and treatment, and work towards the prevention of neurological conditions, to help people who suffer with them live better, longer. Their funding is currently focused on three priority research areas: Brain tumours, Brain and spinal cord injury, and Headache and facial pain. These are areas where there is a large unmet patient need that is not reflected in current funding levels. By concentrating efforts on these three areas, they can have a more significant impact.

Help me to make a difference - your support means that we can continue to fund life-changing research so that people living with neurological conditions can live better longer.
