My Story

So here we go final count down to Marathon week!!!!!!

Over 20 years ago my mum Elizabeth Stokes, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Since her diagnosis mum has had to take a wide range of medication which keeps her able to live a full life. 

Mum became part of her local Parkinson's group and became chairman, helping to raise money for Parkinson's Uk. 

I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for the group that has given my mum so much purpose and support. I want to give something back to an organisation that has given my mum so much. 

I want the money I raise to go towards an organisation that does so much research to help people live with this debilitating disease.
