My Story

I am running the London Marathon 2024 for Sands Derby.

Sands Derby, is the stillbirth and neonatal death charity. Sands works tirelessly across the UK, providing support for those affected by the loss of a baby, advocating for improved bereavement care, and actively engaging in research collaborations to prevent such tragic losses. I want to contribute to their impactful work and help make a positive difference in the lives of families dealing with the profound grief of losing a child.

In 2016, my partner and I faced the heartbreak of three consecutive miscarriages before conceiving our second child, we are now fortunate to have 3 healthy, gorgeous children aged 10, 6 and 4.
I have decided to run the London Marathon, not only as a personal achievement but also to support others facing similar heartbreak.
