My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for St Gemma's Hospice!

Anyone that knows us will know that as a family we have really had our fair share of bad luck over the past few years.

Life in the Woods/Davidson households has been rather stressful and upsetting with back-to-back and overlapping cancer diagnoses.

Along with my brother (Nat), my sister (Naomi) and my best friends (Kate & Liz) we are hoping to raise some money for charities that we have been so incredibly grateful for along this journey.

St Gemma's in Leeds is an incredible charity and hospice. They provide care for and support for so many families across the region. My dad was looked after by the kindest and most compassionate team we could have hoped for and I will be eternally grateful. Any donation, not matter how big or small, will help them to continue doing their wonderful job.

Anyone who knows me also knows that I am absolutely not a natural runner - but I WILL do this!!!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

About my gang..

My sister will be running for the Christie NHS Trust who provided my dad with every potential treatment option and gave us precious extra time by his side.

My brother will be running for Chai cancer care who continue to support us on a regular basis.

and my absolute BEST GUY and constant cheerleader Kate will be supporting the Bone Cancer Research Trust. Bone cancer research is hugely underfunded and this needs to change. Osteosarcoma has really shaken our lives over the past 2 and a half years. We need to know more about treatment options and cures for this rare but aggressive disease.
