My Story

Hi everyone! I'm Joel Dommett the host of the Masked Singer and I'm running 26.3 miles in the Masked Singer winning costume - PIRANHA!  

I am running to raise awareness and money for an incredible charity that I am proudly a patron of - Shooting Star Children's Hospice. Please give what you can - and if you can't give anything, then come down see the costume with a sweaty hidden man inside and cheer me on! 

Shooting Star Children's Hospices supports babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across Surrey and west London.

Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

The London Marathon is one of our biggest annual fundraising events and helps to maintain our vital care services. By joining or supporting #TeamShootingStar you will help us to offer invaluable support to families who are living in the most unimaginable circumstances.
