My Story

In 2017 we got the news that my Taid had terminal cancer in his liver and lymph nodes

After a tough battle for 3-4 months After chemo and radiotherapy the treatment and cancer had put to much of a strain on his body and he suffered 2 strokes on New Year’s Eve 2017.

This meant he could no longer carry on with any treatment.

After a awful 6 months on the 6th April 2018 my taid was admitted to a hospice where he peacefully passed away early hours on the 7th April 2018.

The last 4 months of his life I was for filling his wish for me and I was away doing phase 1 training for the British army. He always told me he wouldn’t go anywhere until I got home from training.

Keeping his promise to me like he did all the way through his life. I had my pass off parade on the 6th of April traveled from pirbright to North wales spent the evening with him and he sadly passed away the next day.

My taid was my best friend growing up and I’ve never met a man like him. Everyone who knew him knew how amazing he was.

Unfortunately Late 2022 I also lost my father in law after a short battle to cancer.

Grahame was an absolutely amazing, loving person who deserves to be remembered for the truly incredible man he was.

I will be Running the London marathon in memory of 2 of the best men to walk the planet!

Getting a space for 2024 means even more to me now then ever after losing my Father in law also to cancer at the end of 2022!

I completely understand times are hard with money at the moment but I would really appreciate if anyone would be able to sponsor me for this event even if it's £1!

I will be pushing myself & my body beyond its limits to get myself prepared for this race and I will complete it wether I run, walk or crawl across that finish line!

I will be updating my page regularly to keep people posted on my training.

If you could just take 2 minutes to read my story on my page and give this post a share I would appreciate it massively!

Thank you in advance!

In loving memory of
