Welcome
My Story
So after considering taking up this challenge for many years I'm finally biting the bullet and running the 2024 London Marathon.
I'll be running to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise, a national charity that supports small charities looking after some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. Any cash you can send my way to help me reach my goal would be greatly appreicated and will go a long way to help the small but vital charities across the U.K that Make Some Noise supports.
Highlighting just one which stands out to me personally is Hypo Hounds Having been exposed to my brother's challenges with Type 1 diabetes, and the difficulties that it can cause if not managed correctly. Hypo Hounds train dogs to detect and alert to the dangerous changes their Type 1 Diabetic owner’s blood sugars. Hypo Hounds services are focused on children, enabling them to gain independence and freedom.
By drawing awareness to and supporting the work of charities, like Hypo Hounds, is incredibly important to
Have a read of some of the fantastic local charities MSN support to inspire any donations. Big or small, money raised helps me and the charities on my marathon journey for Global to make everyone's day brighter.
Right now there are many people across the UK living in crisis. Small charities are working hard in our communities accross the country to support those in need, but they don't have enough resources to support people who are in need. That’s why this year alone, Global’s Make Some Noise is supporting at 100 small charities, including food banks, mental health and domestic violence helplines, carer support, community projects, employment programmes and many more.
