My Story

This year, I have the honor of participating in the London Marathon in support of a cause that has deeply touched my heart. I am joining the fight against childhood cancer, a battle that unfortunately has hit very close to home.

Just a few months ago, I lost my dear colleague Kasi in her brave struggle against cancer. Additionally, my friend Carmen's mother also succumbed to this relentless disease, leaving an immense void in her life and in the lives of all who knew her.

By joining this marathon, I want to pay tribute to Kasi, Carmen, and all the brave children who have faced this disease with unparalleled strength and courage. My goal goes beyond crossing the finish line; it is about contributing to the research and support that children with cancer and their families desperately need.

Every step I take in this marathon will be dedicated to those who have lost the battle, to those currently fighting, and to the survivors who inspire us with their resilience. I humbly ask you to join me in this cause, offering your financial support so that we can move towards a future where childhood cancer is a thing of the past.

No contribution is too small, and every donation matters in the fight against childhood cancer. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it desperately.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support.

With gratitude,
Kari
