My Story

So I am running the London Marathon!! Eeek!! something I never dreamed I would/could ever do but here I am! It has totally taken over my life, no alcohol, no social life, I'm living, breathing running, I'm tired and sore. I knew it would be tough but didn't realise the extent of the training hours and hours of it! but I want to finish in one piece so sticking to the plan!

I am also taking this opportunity to raise money for cancer research UK. I lost my lovely Mum to this terrible disease and many people I know have been affected by it too. My daughter worked as part of her masters for cancer research so I am fully aware of the good work they do and hope one day no one else has to suffer.
