My Story
In April 2023, I attended the London Marathon as a spectator to support my incredible friends Alex and Libby! I was so inspired by their strength and determination that I had the crazy idea to take part myself!
After much deliberation, here I am ready and eager to start my marathon journey!!
From the beginning I knew I wanted to raise money for a Dementia charity, as it is a cause very close to my heart. I am extremely proud to be part of the Dementia Concern Team 2024!
Dementia Concern is an amazing charity based in Ealing, London, that supports people with Dementia and their carers to live as independently as possible by providing Dementia care services and practical help. Dementia Concern currently serves 1,300 people living with dementia and 945 carers in the Ealing area.
I have set myself the huge target of fundraising £3,000 for this fantastic charity, so I'm going to need all the help I can get! Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated. Dementia affects so many families, including my own, and charities like this can make a huge difference.
I am so excited to push myself physically and mentally with this huge challenge! Wish me luck, and I can't wait to cross that finish line!!
