My Story

I'm running the 2024 London Marathon in April to raise money for Mind. It'll be my first ever marathon!

Mind fights to make mental health an everyday priority across England and Wales. They work to tackle injustices in healthcare, in work and in law that can make life harder for those with mental health problems.

At times when I’ve really struggled with anxiety, I’ve been fortunate enough to experience first-hand the immense value of having access to the right support at the right time. But many who need support just don't have the awareness of or access to the right tools, support and services.

Mind estimates mental health problems affect 1 in 4, yet there is still a stigma surrounding it and many don’t get the support they need. I’m working to raise funds to make information and support more readily available, ensuring that no one has to manage alone.

Running the London marathon has always been on my bucket list. And for most of the past decade running has been a hobby that, for me, has had an enormously positive impact on my mental health. Training in Singapore’s heat and humidity will be a challenge, but it will all be worth it to raise money for this great cause.

Your support means the world to me, and every contribution will go a long way in helping those in need. Let's break the stigma surrounding mental health and make a difference together. Thank you for your kindness and support.
