My Story
The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.
I have always wondered whether I have what it takes to complete this challenge and decided that finally, I am going to test myself and give it my best shot!
I am so happy to be running for Alzheimer's Society, a charity whose cause is close to my heart. Treatment for Alzheimer's has advanced considerably over recent years but there is still lots of work to do. If I can do my bit to help raise awareness and much needed funds then I will (hopefully) finish the London Marathon a very content man!
If you are able to dig deep and help me raise my target of £2000 and contribute to this really worthy cause, I would be forever grateful. Thank you. 😊🙏
